The Freshman Band Concert will focus on the growth and development of students in their first year of concert performance at Blue Springs High School.
As the Freshman rehearse in the spring, their class periods are broken in separate times for brass, woodwinds, and percussion. This allows the students time to focus on developing more fundamental techniques on their instrument.
As the end of the semester nears, the Freshman band will perform their own concert putting the brass, woodwinds, and percussion instruments into a complete full ensemble. The growth of this group will be seen through an amazing evening performance.
This concert will be held in mid-May in the Performing Arts Center (PAC) at Blue Springs High School.
