Support for all Activities
The Blue Springs High School Department of Bands works with two parent booster organizations in the school district.
Blue Springs Music Boosters
The Blue Springs School District has an exceptional booster organization for all music programs from grades K-12. The Blue Springs Music Boosters organization provides support in helping ensure that students at all ages can have a positive experience making music and their efforts make such an incredible impact on the Department of Bands at the High School. The Blue Springs Band Boosters also provides music scholarships to high school students for continuing education in college. Thank you to the Blue Springs Band Booster program for the work they do to help make the Department of Bands at the High School an elite and nationally-recognized institution.
The Friends of the Golden Regiment
The activities of the Blue Springs High School Department of Bands are supported by a 503(c) non-profit booster organization "The Friends of the Golden Regiment."
The Friends of the Golden Regiment helps ensure that the resources for the Blue Springs High School Band Staff are made available so they can focus on the most important aspects of education. Whether its fundraising activities, or volunteer coordination for the many areas that make the program successful, the Friends of the Golden Regiment is a nationally recognized booster organization.
The Friends of the Golden Regiment has many annual traditions that help with the financial needs of the program and its students like the Invitational Golf Tournament, the fireworks superstore, and the Golden Regiment Invitational Marching Festival.
The Friends of the Golden Regiment has received awards for innovation in fundraising and volunteer coordination through Music for All. Parent volunteers Tom Meyer, Randy Barnett, and Mark & Dr. Kathleen Meng have all received the honor of the Patrick John Hughes National Parent/Booster award from Music for All.
Thank you to The Friends of the Golden Regiment for the continued success in making the Department of Bands at Blue Springs High School a well rounded program that provides the highest educational experience for marching, concert & symphonic, jazz, percussion, and color guard performing groups.
